This is one of the best El burritos I've been to. Date, my father is a regular especially for half off Taco Tuesday, the staff is extremely friendly and gives an extremely warm welcome. 7 out of five would recommend 💫⭐🌟💫⭐⚡🌠
This place could disguise itself a place You go when drunk. I was not and found it delicious. Quick service, good food. Great green sauce.
I love this restaurant. Please support them. The food is delicious. The limited time Elote corn you have to try! $3.99 for a decent size container and so creamy. The manager cut it off the corn cob right there with his knife. I asked the manager if they could put enchilada sauce on my burrito suizo and he did. Very accommodating and friendly staff. It always tastes good to me, not dry and tasteless like other places. I also saw they have breakfast all day on the menu. Plus burrito bowls for the gluten free or dieter. You can get your food delivered through Uber Eats or Doordash. They always stay up to date on trends!!!
2/20/25 Edit to previous review. Came back on this day. Ordered the same item as last time when I wrote the prior review. Happy to report all is wonderful and the food was back to GREAT! I’m so pleased. Thank you all at El famous of Lombard. I have converted the disappointing stars to five stars. I’ve been coming here for years and it just seems more and more the meat quality is poor. Crunchy steak (?) pieces like either it wasn’t cooked fresh or it’s burnt pieces. Don’t look burnt so I kind of fear it might’ve not be fresh. Either way, can’t stand eating a burrito with ‘crunchy’ meat bits. My suggestion for the business is to bring up the quality of the meat you put in the food, even if you have to raise the prices a little more. People will pay and RETURN for CONSTANT quality. Maybe this explains why at the height of lunch hour of 12:15 PM there’s only a handful of customers. To show my faith in ownership taking seriously these reviews and suggestions, of course I will come back and give them another try. Probably more than just one more time. Looking forward to getting back my favorite burrito place!
This place is absolutely fantastic! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt so warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The food was seriously impressive. They started us off with hot chips, salsa, and guacamole, and everything tasted so fresh. I’m vegetarian, so I didn’t try the meat tacos, but they had plenty of veggie options that completely blew me away. The vegetarian nachos were loaded and super flavorful—definitely a must-try. The highlight for me was the chile relleno tacos in corn tortillas. They were packed with flavor and had just the right balance of spice. The grilled vegetable tacos were equally delicious, with perfectly seasoned veggies that tasted like they came right off the grill. To top it off, I had their Horchata—it was smooth, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. I can’t wait to go back and bring some friends next time. This is definitely one of those spots you’ll want to keep coming back to!
Best hardshell tacos! The ground beef is the most flavorful around. My husband craves their burritos and we love everything else we have tried. It's our go-to place for good Mexican food
